After graduating from the University of Kent, Alun qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in Harare. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. After several years in senior finance roles in Zimbabwe, Alun headed up Imara Africa Securities in Botswana as CEO from its inception in 2007 until 2011. Alun re-joined Imara initially as Head of Operations for the Group’s UK asset management subsidiary in 2015 and then as Group Financial Director in 2019.
